Newsboys sisters, newspaper article

Mr. Gunckel is visible in the middle of the photograph (#10) wearing a white straw hat. Economic growth in the 1890's to the 1920's here in Toledo, Ohio created a demand for timely news delivery. Mr. Gunckel filled the need by hiring boys from poor immigrant families who needed the money to help support their families. Many Jewish boys qualified for the honor.
