Description
Young Stuart Diamond is working hard to make a basket in this black and white photograph at the "new" Jewish Community Center in 1953. This new center on Collingwood Boulevard replaced the old Jewish Educational League building and was then sold in 1973 when the JCC built a new center on Sylvania Avenue in Sylvania, Ohio. JCC basketball programs were well-known, popular, and nationally competitive.
