Harvey Fain receives award

Harvey Fain (right), president of the Toledo Jewish Federation, receives an award from "United Services for New Americans" for his part in assisting the resettlement of World War II holocaust refugees. The text of the award reads: "proudly presents this citation in recognition of outstanding devotion to the cause of America and new Americans who have been welcomed in their midst and aided to build new lives in dignity and freedom". The black and white photo was taken in 1954.
